AGREEMENT FOR MEMBERSHIP CONNECTICUT RIVER OFF
ROAD RECREATIONAL CLUB
AND
CONNECTICUT RIVER MOTOCROSS
The Connecticut River Off Road Recreational Club is
currently limited to, 750 combined Family and Individual
memberships.
CONNECTICUT RIVER OFF ROAD RECREATIONAL CLUB DUES ARE
PUBLISHED ANNUALLY AND AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.
The season will begin in the spring and run as
long as Weather Permitting. Any expansion of the season is at the
option of Tony Lorusso and Lorusso Enterprises LLC.
There is currently in excess of 20 ACRES OF LAND CURRENTLY
AVAILABLE to The Connecticut River Off Road Recreational Club located at
the SOUTHWEST CORNER OF NORTH MEADOW LANE, AND C LANE, IN THE ROCKY HILL
MEADOWS, IN THE TOWN OF ROCKY HILL.
A portion of these dues helps finance the day to day
OPERATING EXPENSES, IMPROVEMENTS TO THE PARK AREA, PROPERTY TAXES,
IRRIGATION OF THE TRACK, SUPPORTING AGRICULTURAL OPERATIONS, AND FUTURE
SECURITY.
Dues are payable IN-FULL at the time of applying for
seasonal membership and are prorated during the season which runs
PRIMARILY from MAY 1ST. TO SEPT. 30TH, OR FOR A LONGER PERIOD IF THE
SITUATION PERMITS. DUES WILL NOT BE PRORATED ON ANY PERIOD OF TIME LESS
THAN A MONTH.
THE SEASON IS, AND WILL BE, DETERMINED BY SPRING FLOODS AND
WINTER. IT IS THE PARK'S INTENT TO OFFER AS MUCH RIDING TIME AS POSSIBLE
TO CLUB MEMBERS.
CURRENTLY, MOTORCYCLES ARE PERMITTED ON THE TRACK, DURING
TRACK HOURS OF OPERATION .
MEMBERSHIP IN THE CONNECTICUT RIVER OFF ROAD RECREATIONAL
CLUB DOES NOT
INCLUDE ANY OWNERSHIP OF THE LAND ON WHICH THE CLUB
ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE.
From time to time the Connecticut River Off Road
Recreational Park may acquire, or lease, additional lands for use by club
members, and participate in sanctioned racing events and various
Community Service projects.
SAFETY AND RULES FOR PARK USE
ALL MEMBERS AND GUESTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO POSSESS AND WEAR,
THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM SAFETY EQUIPMENT, SUBJECT TO INSPECTION BY TRACK
SECURITY:
HELMET - GOGGLES - RIDING PANTS -
MOTOCROSS BOOTS
NO MEMBER OR GUEST SHALL ENTER THE PARK AREA DURING TIMES
THAT THE PARK IS NOT IN OPERATION. MEMBERS, GUESTS, OR THE PUBLIC THAT ARE
NOT RIDING, SHALL REMAIN OUT OF THE IMMEDIATE TRACK AREA.
EACH MEMBER AND GUEST IS WARNED THAT THE LAND
SURROUNDING, THE CONNECTICUT RIVER OFF ROAD RECREATIONAL PARK IS PRIVATELY
OWNED AND USED FOR AGRICULTURE.
IN THE CASE OF THE TRACK
AREA,
WORM COLLECTION IS OFTEN CONDUCTED
EACH MEMBER SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOWING THE BOUNDARIES
OF THE PARK AND SHALL REMAIN FAMILIAR WITH SAME.
ALL MEMBERS MUST AGREE NOT TO ENTER ONTO THE PUBLIC ROADS
AND PRIVATE LANDS THAT SURROUND THE PARK.
ANY VIOLATIONS WHERE A PARK MEMBER OR HIS GUEST IS FOUND TO
HAVE ENTERED
ONTO A PUBLIC ROAD OR THE PRIVATE LANDS OF ANOTHER WITHOUT
PERMISSION, SHALL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE TRACK, AND MAY IMMEDIATELY FORFEIT
HIS OR HER MEMBERSHIP PRIVILEGES..
1. All members and their guests must MAKE THEIR PRESENCE
KNOWN AT THE PARK UPON THEIR ARRIVAL, or Notify Park security at
860-563-0352, prior to use of the park. , and provide or have on file, a signed and notarized
waiver with park security. All non member DayRiders, will be subject to A
DAILY DAYRIDER CHARGE .
2. All MEMBERS AND GUESTS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MUST BE
ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT, LEGAL GUARDIAN OR CHAPERONE. The
chaperone must be at least 18 years of age and have a notarized waiver
from the parent or legal guardian of anyone under the age of 18 in their
possession, or on file with park security.
3. All members and guests must remain in the authorized
area of the park, and will adhere to any and all directions of any
member of the park security staff.
4. All members and guests must comply with any orders and
directions of track security that may be issued from time to time.
5. RECKLESS, DANGEROUS OR UNCONTROLLED OPERATION OF A
VEHICLE, OR ACTIVITY, on the part of any member or guest during
usage of the park area will not be tolerated, and will be cause for
IMMEDIATE AND POSSIBLE PERMANENT EXPULSION from the park.
6. VEHICLES shall not exceed 5 MPH in any area outside
of the defined track area.
7. In the event of misuse or abuse of park property or
equipment, disagreements between two or more individuals regarding any
Safety or Rule violation by any member or guest, will be grounds for
immediate and possible permanent REVOCATION of park privileges.
8. All persons involved in an UNRESOLVED
DISAGREEMENT REGARDING SAFETY OR RULES must leave the Park immediately
and not return until park officials have had an opportunity to review the
circumstances surrounding the incident.
9. FIRES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE PARK area except
under special circumstances and approval of Park Staff
10. ANY AND ALL PETS are to be on a leash or property
restrained to prevent injury or nuisance to park members.
11. ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE must be
reported immediately to park personnel at 860-563-0352. In the event that
a serious injury occurs, notification to the ROCKY HILL POLICE,
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY (911) will be made Without delay.
The location of the track is North Meadow Lane and C Lane in
the Rocky Hill Meadows.
12. ALL LITTER SHALL BE DISPOSED OF in proper waste
receptacles. Operators shall be responsible for any debris caused or left
by their vehicles,
13. THE POSSESSION OR CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS ON
THE PREMISES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
14. ANYONE WHO DEMONSTRATES THE POSSIBILITY OF BEING
UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS IS PROHIBITED FROM ALL TRACK
ACTIVITIES.
15. FUELING of motorcycles shall take place in a safe
manner, as prescribed by track rules, and shall not cause any harm to the
environment.
16. WASHING OF MOTORCYCLES shall be done according to
track rules, and shall not cause any harm to the environment.
